BIO
Many years ago I got my BA in psychology Sophie Newcomb College and my M.Ed in Early Childhood Emotional Disturbances at Tulane University, both located in New Orleans. For a while I ran a school for emotionally disturbed boys but then life took me in a different direction. I became a realtor in the metro Washington D.C. area, then in the Dallas/Ft. Worth metroplex and finally in Sarasota FL.
Two personal experiences have changed my life once again, one great and one not so great. Adopting a two-week old baby from China and having mental illness prevalent in my family caused me to re-think what I was doing with my life. My degree from the Art Institute of Tampa and forming Positive Change Productions allow me to not only use my educational and life experience, but also to accomplish something meaningful with my work, to bring positive attention to the important things in life through my work.
I formed Positive Change Productions in 2008 with the aim of creating films and photos that look at life in the best possible light. To date, the company has produced short films with topics varying from the tattoo process to assisted suicide. Currently, several other projects are in pre and post production and several will be released soon. For more detail, click on the WORK tab.
